Triton City Submission Process

To celebrate artists and storytellers, we’d like to give artists the opportunity to work with TCE on an original commission from Triton City's first original script Dawn of the Paladin. Detail below.

Submission Requirements:

Artists are to submit an existing, single piece of concept art from their portfolio for TCE to review. Artists may also include a link to their full portfolio.

Concept art must be submitted by August 13th, 2018 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time (the “Submission Period”). Selected artist will be contacted via email regarding the $1,000.00 commission.

Commission:

The three planet colony that the Paladin protect is powered by an ore called ouj.

In the movie script, the criminal organization known as The Shune, attack a ouj mine and steal a transport ship filled with the ore. They need it to power the new weapon they’ve brought to the colony called a balak. (Read the scene here.)

Commissioned artist will be asked to create a piece of concept art that shows what the exterior of the ouj ore refinery looks like in its environment…built into the side of a cavern on the dark side of the planet Vintoo.

The artist will work closely with the TCE creative team.

Rules:

The submission period begins on July 18, 2018, at 12:01 am Eastern Time and ends on August 13, 2018 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time. Artists can submit concept art as described above for consideration as more fully set forth below. At the end of the submission period, Triton City’s Art Director, Lead Illustrator and CEO will decide which piece of concept art is the winner. We’ll base our decision on style, execution, creativity and how well the art complements the story Dawn of the Paladin.

Eligibility:

Only legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry are eligible to enter. Officers, directors and employees of Triton City Entertainment Inc. (“Triton City”), and its affiliates, members, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their immediate family members and/or people living in the same household are NOT eligible to submit.
